What we collect
- Account info: your email, and — if you sign in with Google or Apple — your name and avatar. Your Nutrition Tutor Academy account exists only for this app.
- Preferences: the goals, diet, and pillars you pick during onboarding.
- Tool inputs and outputs: what you type into tools and what we generate, so you can save and revisit them.
- Usage analytics: aggregated, anonymized events (page views, tool opens) used to improve the product.
- Mobile app only: if you use our iOS or Android app, our advertising partner may receive device information and an advertising identifier (see “Advertising” below).
How we use it
We use your data to run the service, personalize your dashboard, keep your saved items available, and improve tool quality. We don't sell your personal data.
Cookies, Website Storage, Analytics, and Tracking Technologies
The Application may display content and services provided through our website using an in-app web browser (WebView). The Application and the website may use cookies, local storage, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies to provide and maintain essential functionality, keep users signed in, remember preferences, analyze usage, and improve the Service.
Necessary storage and cookies may be used without consent where they are required for the Application or website to function, including authentication, maintaining user sessions, security, and essential preferences.
Optional analytics technologies may be used to help us understand how users interact with our content and which lessons or features are useful. Where consent is required, we will ask for the user's consent before enabling optional analytics technologies. Users may choose to accept or reject optional analytics through the cookie/consent mechanism provided within the Application or website.
We use no advertising cookies on our website for serving advertisements. Our website displays no advertising. However, the Application may display advertisements through third-party advertising providers, such as Google AdMob. These advertising providers may collect and process information such as device information, advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location, and information about interactions with advertisements, subject to their own privacy policies and the user's privacy choices.
Where Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework applies, the Application will request the user's permission before accessing information for tracking purposes as defined by Apple. If the user does not grant tracking permission, the Application will respect that choice and will not use the information for tracking purposes that require such permission.
Users may purchase an available subscription to remove advertisements from the Application. The subscription does not necessarily disable the essential cookies or storage required for the Application or website to function.
For more information about how third-party advertising and analytics providers process information, users should review the privacy policies of those providers.
Third-Party Advertising — Google AdMob
The Application may use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob and its associated services may collect information from the Application, including device and advertising information, to provide, deliver, measure, and improve advertising services.
Depending on the user's choices, applicable laws, and Apple's permission requirements, advertising may be personalized or non-personalized. Where required by Apple, the Application will request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before performing tracking.
Users who purchase an applicable subscription may have advertisements removed from the Application.
For more information about Google's handling of information, please refer to Google's applicable privacy documentation. You can limit ad personalization at any time: on iOS, decline the app-tracking prompt or turn off Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Allow Apps to Request to Track; on Android, use Settings → Google → Ads to delete or opt out of your advertising ID.
Third-party services
- Infrastructure: our auth, database, storage, and hosting providers — bound by their own terms.
- AI model providers: generate tool responses, receiving only the input needed for that request.
- Analytics: Google Analytics, for aggregated website measurement only.
- Google AdMob: mobile app advertising only — not used on the website.
- Apple StoreKit and the App Store: subscription purchases are processed directly through Apple's StoreKit in-app purchase system on your device. Apple handles payment, subscription management, and renewal; we do not process or store payment card information.
Your privacy choices
- Account deletion: delete your account and its data at any time from your Profile page. Deletion affects this app only.
- Export and access: export or review your saved data from your Profile page.
- Device ad preferences: control app ad personalization with the iOS and Android settings described above, or remove app ads with Premium.
- Analytics: browser do-not-track and content-blocking settings are respected by our analytics provider where supported.
Children
Nutrition Tutor Academy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
